Profiles for e.g. screens for sifters and crushers are used to protect screens against damage and excessive abrasion of the edges.
The gasket is placed in the place where the screen meets the steel supports in the inner part of the sorter, where it acts as a shock absorber, preventing the screen from damage.
For production, we use an EPDM mixture with increased resistance to abrasion and shear.
